When does camp run?

Adventure Day Camp runs June 22 – July 31, 2026, Monday through Friday. There are 6 weekly sessions. You may register for one week or bundle multiple weeks at a reduced rate.

What are the daily camp hours?

Camp runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Drop-off is 8:00–8:20 AM — gates will not open for regular drop-off until 8:00 AM. Standard pick-up is 4:00–4:20 PM.

Early drop-off (6:30–7:55 AM, Mon–Fri) is available at the adjacent property at 16811 Whirley Rd. for a paid add-on of $15/day or $55/week.

Late pick-up (4:20–6:00 PM, Mon–Thu) is available at 16811 Whirley Rd. for $15/day or $45/week. There is no late pick-up on Fridays.

How does payment work?

Registration and payment are handled securely through Zeffy. Select your week, choose your add-ons, fund your camper's snack account, and complete the short registration form — all in one step, no separate follow-up needed. You will receive a confirmation email at the address you provide.

Question 4

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Accepted Answer

You qualify for a full refund if you cancel 7 or more calendar days before your camp week's start date. Refunds are processed through Zeffy — for specific timelines, please review Zeffy's Terms of Service.

If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of camp, a full refund is only issued if: (1) we are able to fill your child's spot from our waitlist, and (2) the replacement camper pays in full and attends their first day. Your refund will be processed after the replacement completes their first day.

Alternatively, you may transfer your payment to a different camp week, provided that week still has open spots available.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes — a 10% discount applies to each additional camper from the same household. Contact us after your first registration and we will apply the discount manually and send an updated invoice.

Question 6

Do you offer financial assistance?

Victory Acres Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We have a small scholarship fund for families who demonstrate financial need. Contact us to request an application form. Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis as long as funds are available.

What ages can attend?

Campers must be between 8 and 13 years old during the camp season (June–July 2026). A camper who turns 8 before June 22, 2026 is eligible. A camper who turns 14 before June 22, 2026 is not.

Does my child need any prior outdoor experience?

Accepted Answer

No experience is needed for any activity. Horsemanship has a beginner track specifically designed for first-timers. Our staff meet every camper where they are.

Can campers with medical or behavioral needs attend?

We evaluate each camper individually. Please contact us before registering so we can discuss your camper's specific needs and determine whether we can provide the appropriate level of support.

What medical forms are required?

After registering, if you indicated that your child requires special accommodations or medications, you will receive a link to complete a health history form and medication authorization (if applicable). A copy of your camper's insurance card is also required before the first day.

How do you handle food allergies?

Campers must bring their own meals — camp does not provide lunches. Bring a shelf-stable lunch that does not require refrigeration, or load funds onto your camper's Snack Bar account for pre-packaged options. List all food allergies during registration so our staff are aware and can monitor snack times safely. Campers with food allergies will wear a bracelet indicating their allergy, which staff check before providing any food.

My child is nervous about the air-rifle station. Is it mandatory?

No activity is mandatory. If your camper prefers to skip the air-rifle station, they will join an alternate activity group. All firearm activities use air rifles, are supervised by trained staff, and follow strict range safety protocols.

What is the staff-to-camper ratio?

During structured activity stations we maintain a 1:6 staff-to-camper ratio. During early drop-off, late pick-up, lunch, and free play — when campers are gathered in a single confined area — ratios may reach up to 1:20. Activity station leaders receive specialized training in their instructional areas. All staff must pass a comprehensive background check before the camp season begins, in compliance with Florida safety laws.

Is this a religious camp?

Yes. Adventure Day Camp is a Christ-centered program. Biblical values are woven into daily activities — not as a separate classroom session, but through character, leadership, and how we treat one another. Morning devotions are part of every day.

Question 15

Can children from non-Christian families attend?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Families of all backgrounds are welcome. Campers will participate in Christian devotional content as part of the normal camp day. We do not pressure or single out any camper.

Question 16

What should my camper bring each day?

Accepted Answer

Closed-toe shoes (required), lunch and refillable water bottle, sunscreen, a change of clothes for water-play days, bug spray, and a good attitude. A detailed pack list is sent with your registration confirmation.

Are phones or electronics allowed?

To keep campers engaged and present, we ask that all personal electronics be left at home. If a camper must bring a cell phone, it will be turned off and handed to a Camp Director upon arrival, stored safely, and returned at pickup. Camp Directors share a single Google Voice camp line accessible during all camp hours — if you need to reach your child, or if we need to reach you, all communication goes through a Camp Director via this official camp line.
